Nice to meet you! As a Hoosier born and raised, I’m a firm believer in working hard and following through. Through my career so far, I’ve found that sticking to that Midwestern work ethic has taken me places and introduced me to all sorts of new people and experiences, all while doing what I love most — storytelling and writing.

I graduated from Ball State University with a degree in magazine journalism, but my first few jobs after college were at newspapers. There I got a crash course in editing on the fly and writing and producing multimedia stories on deadline. I’ve since shifted my professional focus to writing content that tells the stories and sells the marketing objectives of companies and organizations, picking up project management skills and digital writing best practices along the way. In between jobs and while off the clock, I’ve also freelanced for various trade organizations and media outlets, including the Indianapolis Star.

On a more personal note, my husband and I have lived in Fishers for the better part of the last decade. We love spending time with our two girls, Maisie (3) and Norah (1), and “first born” — our dog, Simon. I’m addicted to reading DIY blogs and finding new ideas on Pinterest to make our house feel more like home, but I also love podcasts, binge watching shows on Netflix, baking and embarking on family adventures.

Thank you so much for taking an interest in me and my work! If you’d like to get in touch, you can find ways to contact me here.
